In 2017 Charlie Capalbo, a senior goalie playing for his high school hockey team, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma. After 10 months of intensive treatment and multiple life threatening complications he was diagnosed with a second, different cancer - leukemia. He moved to Boston and spent 6 months in Boston Children’s Hospital for chemotherapy and radiation, followed by a bone marrow transplant with his younger brother Will, also a hockey goalie, as his donor. Now 21, Charlie is doing well and going to college in January. This holiday season, Charlie has decided he wants to pay it forward and hold the event again to celebrate with his friends and family his amazing recovery. He and his family have inspired a community and beyond with efforts to increase awareness of pediatric cancer, as well as fundraising for various cancer organizations. He is donating all proceeds from the event back to Boston Children’s Hospital. Please join us in celebrating Charlie with live music by the Rumrunners, DJ Vig, drink specials and special guest appearances by hockey legends at the Fairfield Theatre Company on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 7 p.m. Concert Tickets $20 - $50
