FTC Film Club returns for its 4th season. Film Club is when we watch interesting films and discuss them with experts from the Sacred Heart University Film and Television Masters Program (FTMA). Based on actual events - Ron Stallworth, an African American police officer from Colorado Springs, CO, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of a Jewish surrogate who eventually becomes its leader. BlacKkKlansman was nominated for 6 Academy Awards and won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Bill Harris, Senior VP of Programming and Production at A&E and History Channel will lead the discussion on this provocative and, often hilarious, film.
